The Last two days in Paris were glorious. Above and below, I have strategically placed myself with my back to the sun at L’Avenue, a restaurant great for people watching and being watched. I saw some very interesting outfits here. One guy in all black black Versace rocked a remarkably pre-recession look, complete with 3 iPhone 6’s dangling from weird angles amongst gold chains and diamond watches (I’ll use the plural here- wouldn’t wanna offend the man!)

On Tuesday evening, we went to the Pharrell concert. I think it is fair to say that the French, they adoooore Pharrell (but then again, don’t we all!) It was a seriously kick ass concert with extremely good energy on stage and in the crowd. It was fun that he mixed up his own new and old classics with songs like It’s Getting Hot in Here and Drop it Like it’s Hot, as well as getting joined on stage by fellow N.E.R.D band member Shay Haley to perform Lapdance, She Wants To Move, Rockstar etc. The roof was lifting. Apparently the night before we went, Jay Z was there enjoying the show, and tonight, tennis pro Serena Williams as well as one anonymous part of Daft Punk were some of the celebritays there this night. I had to settle for being mistaken for Iggy Azalea (thats the second time in two weeks) but I enjoyed those brief two seconds of attention, thank you very much.

Before departure, we wanted a little bit more of that Time Travel so we went out for lunch at Versailles. Magnifique! In terms of style icons, Marie Antoinette was without doubt one of the most glam betches ever, so being here certainly felt special. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t as good as previous days, and since we had a train to catch we only managed a short stroll around the grounds. Needless to say, the Château itself as well as the surrounding park is just breathtaking- enough to lose ones head over.

In anticipation of the concert, I busted out my own “Marilyn Monroe” moves

Due to general “Uber confusion” our ride out to the Zenith where the concert was held took quite some time. Happy faces anyway!

The Mojito Royale at Hotel Costes is apparently the best in Paris!

Posing away at the foyer of our wonderful Hotel Athenée. I absolutely love that it had such an old school feel to it, with red velvet sofas and pictures of old movie stars lining the walls of the little red bar. I am after all, a sucker for all things old Hollywood and glamour!
