An enchanted party, an enchanted evening! There is nothing I like more than a good theme party. Hence why, when a beautiful invite to join the Jungle Mayhem arrived in the post, I got all excited and giddy; what to wear? The theme was inspired by the Animal Kingdom and my mind raced every which way… I settled for some sort of Disco Reptile. Tyrannosaurus Lex?
The invite had been rather secretive, not disclosing the location of the party; we were to meet on Sloane Square and board buses which would transport us to the magical destination. It was clear that I wasn’t the only one who’d gotten excited at the prospect of dressing up – a cavalcade of Beautiful People in Amazing Costumes traveled together out into the wilderness.
An hour or so later, we arrived at the party – and what a magical setting it as… phenomenal! The hosts, which we will refer to by their nicknames J-Lo and Jacko (sounds a bit like a pop duo, ey?) had gone the extra mile in preparing the beautiful estate to perfection; we entered an enchanted forest, no less!
The magic continued as the evening progressed; after drinks and food outside, we entered the house. Each room held it’s own secrets it seemed, but the best part was the ‘nightclub’ which had been set up, complete with DJ and a unicorn who played the drums.
My only wish is that the party would’ve lasted longer! I could’ve stayed a couple more hours 🙂
A massive, enormous Thank You to J-Lo and Jacko, for inviting us to celebrate such a truly amazing night, which left me wanting more more more…. how lucky I am, that Halloween is just around the corner.
