Ahoy, fellow sea-people and lovers of all things blue! My Piscean disposition has been well nurtured the last couple of days, which I have spent in Clearwater, Florida; my brother Fredrik and I are here visiting our Dad, who lives here.
So, what do we normally associate with this part of Florida? Why, Spring Breakers and Scientology of course (opposites attract!?) but as far as I can tell, my Dad has nothing to do with either of these things. Nevertheless, I like to educate myself on whichever cultural quirks the various corners of the world I visit have to offer. Thus, in honor of the latter, my bro and I geared up towards our trip by watching a crazy documentary about the
cult religion called Going Clear: Scientology and The Prison of Belief. Now I’ve done that part of the research, all I need is to find some serious party people who can educate me in the way of the Spring Breakers. Beer pong? Can I have champagne instead?
It feels so good to be back in the sun and on the beach! Our friend Grant took us out on a little boat trip which proved much fun: I truly love being near the ocean, but being the natural shade of a glass of milk, I do sometimes struggle with this tanning biznizz. Spf 110, all the way!
Anyway, here are some pics from our mini cruise; I have loads more pictures that I will post later, before I leave.
Too bad we couldn’t get a better picture – they weren’t in the “Instagram mood”
